Acoustic Consulting Pricing Policies

Generally $125 per hour

Generally we work on a consultancy basis and charge $125 per hour for the following services:

• Acoustic treatment design
• Documentation preparation e.g. report creation, creation of CAD or other drawings
• Acoustic treatment installation
• System calibration
• Any other design or engineering work
• Any design or documentation revisions

With a few exceptions:

Acoustic Diagnosis (i.e. measurement and analysis) services, whether for two channel audio or home theater are charged at the fixed prices of:

• $875 for the Local Acoustic Diagnosis. This includes unlimited time spent onsite at the client site (a typical visit is 4-5 hours), phone and e-mail support and the 25+ page Acoustic Diagnosis Report.
• $500 for the Remote Acoustic Diagnosis. This includes unlimited phone and e-mail support and the 25+ page Acoustic Diagnosis Report.

Travel:

• Travel within the areas we serve is included at no cost to the client.
• Travel outside this area is charged at our cost for flights and hotel rooms and 0.50c per mile if we drive. We charge $50 for each hour in transit.
