RPG make a wide range of absorptive panels, diffusors, combination absorber diffusors and bass traps. Some of their well known products that we use include the Skyline and Binary Amplitude Diffsorber (BAD) panels. Their fabric covered panels are available in hundreds of colors and patterns and they have full custom CAD manufacturing capability.

Primacoustic is a Canadian company from just outside Vancouver who make a couple of products we really like - the FlexiFuser and the MaxTrap / FullTrap. Primacoustic only offer three fabric finishes on their panels but offer a really good performance to price ratio in rooms where aesthetics is less of an issue relative to overall cost.

RealTraps make great bass traps and acoustical panels. We like their Reflection Free Zone (RFZ) panels which can be easily stand mounted and their Mega Traps which when positioned in corners provide excellent bass absorption.

Golterman & Sabo or G&S for short is a company hailing from St. Louis, Missouri. The main product we use from them is a unique paintable acoustical panel called Pinta which is available in any of the Sherwin Williams latex paint colors (that's over 1,500 unique colors!). This allows for an exact match to an existing painted ceiling or wall - for more information see our blog post. They also offer a paint matching service if you know the manufacturer and model of paint used in your room.

Torus Power is a Canadian company based in Toronto. Torus make power conditioning products that use torodial isolation transformer technology perfected by their parent company, Plitron Manufacturing. Units are available for systems from 5A to 290A, with 120V or 240V inputs and with or without automatic voltage regulation. We use Torus Power products because they reduce mains borne noise and increase instantaneous power delivery., both of which result in audible improvements to overall sound quality.

DEQX makes the HDP-3 and HDP-Express speaker and room correction processors. These products correct for the frequency response, group delay, dispersion, time alignment and distortion issues of your speakers as well as providing recording and room equalization functionality. They can be implemented in many ways, including the basic 'DEQX Inline', where the active crossover capability is not used and 'DEQX XO' in which the crossover in the DEQX replaces that in your loudspeakers.

Pro Audio Technology is based in Huntington Beach, California. Their products utilize technologies derived from the professional side of the business including compression drivers, constant directivity waveguides and high power handling, high efficiency woofers. The speakers are actively driven, which means line level crossovers and one amplifier per driver. The amplifiers contain digital signal processing (DSP) that manages the crossover, driver correction and power amplification. Nothing delivers the visceral impact and dynamics of a horn based system and in our opinion this is the right technology to recreate the cinema experience in your home.

Marantz should be a company needing no introduction. They make a variety of superb value audio and home theater products including a number of excellent surround receivers and pre-processors such as the AV7005. The pace of technology in the pre-processors and receivers is rapid and therefore realistically you should be planning on replacing these every 3yrs or so.

Velodyne only makes one thing - subwoofers - but it does that at a world class level. They are a local Californian company - from Morgan Hill. The Digital Drive Plus series are the ones we use the most - they offer compact cabinets, superb bass extension, less than 1% distortion, have user configurable parametric EQ and provide every connectivity option you could want.

JL Audio is a company out of Miramar, Florida that makes awesome subwoofers. They do not offer the functionality and connectivity of the Velodyne products but they do, in our opinion, slightly better in pure two channel systems. We have successfully integrated Fathom subs with open baffle dipoles, horn loaded single drivers as well as 'normal' speakers which shows their versatility. They offer Fathoms in sizes of 10", 12", 13", dual 12", the Gotham which is a dual 13" sub and the In Wall Sub 1 and 2 (IWS) which are designed for mounting in a 2x4 stud bay.

Seymour Screen Excellence (SSE) makes a wide selection of acoustically transparent screens using their proprietary woven Enlightor 2 and Enlightor 4k materials. The Enlightor 4k is the first 4k capable ISF certified acoustically transparent screen material. Fixed and motorized screens with and without masking are available. Seymour AV (one half of SSE) also offer lower cost screens using their Center Stage XD woven and acoustically transparent material. Put the speakers behind the screen where they belong and be assured there are no moire issues with these screens!

URC - Universal Remote Control makes a wide selection of remotes, base stations and lighting controllers. URC products enable you to replace all of your existing remotes with a single, unified control system that can control your AV system but is also scalable to control whole house audio, lighting, heating and security.
