The Primacoustic FlexiFuser is an innovative combination variable slat diffusor and absorber that is absolutely perfect for treating side and rear wall reflection points
There are very few combination absorber / diffusor products on the market. We love the Primacoustic FlexiFuser because it allows you to adjust the balance of soundstage focus vs. envelopment. This is simply done by opening, partially opening or closing the six wooden slats. You can also change the direction of reflected sound by turning the slats one way or the other.
Specifications:
- Six 3" wide wood composite slats spanning the full top-to-bottom height
- Slats can be moved and rotated to nearly any angle to balance absorption vs. diffusion and allow the user to determine the spread of reflected energy
- Slats can be fixed in pre-determined positions using supplied guide pins or left to freely rotate
- A 2" thick 6 pounds per square foot (pcf) compressed fiberglass panel is located behind the slats
- Fiberglass panel is wrapped in a micromesh tissue layer to prevent stray fibers, has resin hardened edges and is finished in an acoustically transparent grey fabric
- Ships flat; assembly takes <15 minutes using standard household tools
- Class A fire rated
