Combination absorber / diffuser products are so named because they absorb and scatter sound energy. Acoustic Frontiers recommends using combination absorber / diffusor products to control reflected energy within a room and add general decay time control. They can be used in large quantities since they transition from absorption to diffusion around 100Hz and therefore do not 'overdamp' your room. 4" RPG BAD panels provide additional bass absorption, especially when placed across corners. The RPG BAD Arc is a curved version of the BAD panel providing beneficial additional diffusion. The Primacoustic Flexifuser is an innovative panel where the amount of absorption can be adjusted by the end user.
