Imaging Science Foundation (ISF) certification

What it is

The Imaging Science Foundation (ISF) was founded in 1994 by Joel Silver and is dedicated to improving the quality of electronic imaging. It’s role in the display standards industry is fourfold: consulting with manufacturers regarding product development, certification training, media communications and product licensing.

We hold Level I certification. Level I certification teaches participants an end-to-end process for video calibration that is applicable to all display technologies including HDTVs and front projection systems. Topic covered include: display standards, video levels, brightness, contrast, multi-point greyscale, color management systems as well as the use of measurement hardware and software.

Your takeaway
